Feasibility Studies

The prediction basis for the reservoir properties is taken from the seismic data using cut-off values in addition to relationships established by core analysis and log data. In the course of petrophysical studies PetroTrace specialists use all available drilling information. The use of effective tools for well data analysis and modelling allows us to establish links between seismic acoustic parameters and reservoir parameters and justify the reservoir properties prediction in the inter-well space. Avo and Inversion

PetroTrace geophysicists analyse processed gathers and estimate angle gathers to select and validate the most appropriate inversion technique depending on the set of features inherent in a particular area. Changes of wave field behavior may be due to several geological and technological factors.(Such as lateral variation of lithology and fluid type, anomalies in the shallow part of a section, survey design irregularities, seismic processing issues, etc.).
